  • June 14, 2011 – SaM Solutions to sponsor this year’s LVEE 2011 conference

    On June 30 – July 3, the “Himik” summer camp near Grodno, Belarus, will host Linux Vacation / Eastern Europe (LVEE 2011), the 7th international conference for developers and users of open-source software. The event will combine communication and entertainment for numerous open-source software experts and enthusiasts. SaM Solutions has been sponsoring this conference since 2005, while some of the company’s employees are members of the LVEE organizational committee. 

  • May 27, 2011 – SaM Solutions renews its Gold competency in the Microsoft Partner Network

    Microsoft PartnerSaM Solutions, one of the leading offshore/nearshore companies on the Belarusian market, was among the first to gain a Gold competency in the renewed Microsoft Partner Network. The renewed Microsoft Partner Network was made available on November 1, 2010. Unlike its previous version, the new program offers clearer differentiation by competencies and involvement levels. An involvement level (status) is directly linked to a specific competency reflecting the type of a partner’s business or profile in relation to Microsoft solutions and technologies. Apart from this, the new program has considerably higher requirements for Gold partners.

    SaM Solutions, one of the leading software development companies on the Belarusian market, was nominated for several prestigious awards of “The 2011 Global Outsourcing 100®”, an annual rating published by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (IAOP®) association.

  • April 29, 2011 – SaM Solutions among top exporters of the Belarusian Hi-Tech Park

    On April 27, 2011, Minsk hosted the first annual event called “Golden Byte 2010 – the Oscar for IT Companies”. According to Alexander Martinkevich, Deputy Director of the Hi-Tech Park, “Golden Byte aims to reward and promote IT companies that consistently demonstrated top performance throughout the year.”

  • April 06, 2011 – SaM Solutions is fit for partnership

    The German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technologies (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Technologie, BMWi) pays a lot of attention to cooperation between Moldova, Belarus and Germany as part of the “Fit for Partnership” initiative. In an effort to strengthen business ties between the participant countries, the Ministry announced the launch of a Management Career Enhancement Program encompassing a number of events to take place in the period of March 15 – April 13, 2011 in Berlin and Brandenburg. The program aims to intensify and widen mutual economic relationships by allowing managers from Belarus and Moldova to visit German companies, share experience and get valuable on-site practice in Germany. A senior representative of SaM Solutions, one of the leading providers of offshore/nearshore software development services, took part in this program as well.
