SaM Solutions announces the Opening of a Joint Educational Scientific Laboratory based on BSUIR

SaM Solutions, one of the leading Belarusian software development outsourcing companies, announces the ceremonial opening of the joint educational scientific innovation laboratory on the basis of the economic information department of Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. The ceremony was held on the 3rd of October, 2007, in the room 223 of the 5th building of BSUIR (Platonova str. 39).

There were Aleksandr Radkov - the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Martinkevich - the Deputy Director of the High Technologies Park, Mikhail Batura - the Head of BSUIR and other guests present on the ceremony.

The aim of the scientific innovation laboratory creation is to increase the level of students training in the IT sphere. It-s planned that university lectures as well as SaM Solutions special trainings will take place in the laboratory. Thus, for holding its own student preparatory training courses, which deal mainly with various programming languages teaching, SaM Solutions is to use only 20% of time while the rest of time is meant for giving everyday university lectures.

The scientific laboratory is equipped with modern high-level technologies v there are 21 computers corresponding to the modern education requirements, a projector, the Wi-Fi POP. The students are offered 20 properly equipped working places for them to work with their own notebooks. The scientific innovation laboratory settings also comply with the highest level educational demands. There are a number of posters hanged on the walls containing relevant information data about BSUIR and SaM Solutions.

Marat Ebzeev, Managing Director of SaM Solutions Minsk, opened the ceremony with the presentation of the SaM Solutions company, saying that the joint scientific innovation laboratory based on BSUIR represents the SaM Solutions contribution to the quality increase of practical education of Belarusian IT experts as well as contribution to the development of the information technologies branch in the whole Republic. The Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus pointed to the fact that it is of primary importance to organize a qualitative training process in the sphere of high technologies. The floor was also given to Aleksandr Martinkevich, the Deputy Director of the High Technologies Park, who noted with good reason that the High-Tech Park residents play a decisive role in the increase of education level of Belarusian programmers. Mikhail Batura, The Head of BSUIR, expressed his gratitude for the company to make an important contribution to the educational process of the institute of higher education and his hope for further mutually beneficial cooperation.

The ceremony was concluded by the press conference where Belarusian mass media representatives had a chance to have answered all their questions addressed to the authorities present.
