SaM Solutions together with DAAD announces the Opening of a Joint Scientific Laboratory based on BNTU

SaM Solutions - one of the leading Belarusian software development outsourcing companies together with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) announces the ceremonial opening of the joint educational scientific innovation laboratory on the basis of the Belarus National Technical University (BNTU). The ceremony was held on the 25th of March, 2009, in the room 203 of the 18th building of BSUIR (Independence av. 67).

The cooperation of the SaM Solutions company with BNTU and other higher educational establishments of Belarus started a few years ago; at present partnership agreements are signed with the majority of them. Various partnership programs include sponsorship, organization of conferences, scientific research, opening of joint laboratories and educational classes, reading of lectures by SaM Solutions’ specialists, teaching of the most talented and goal-oriented students with a perspective of further employment.

Collaboration with DAAD was not a coincidence. SaM Solutions’ headquaters are located in Germany and over 70% of the company’s European customers are German. There are such companies as azh GmbH, Interface AG, Lexware GmbH, SAP AG, SIEMENS AG and many others among them. Therefore, SaM Solutions is interested in joint educational programs as well as in a long mutually beneficial cooperation with DAAD.

The aim of the joint educational scientific innovation laboratory’s opening, where specialized DAAD’s tests and trainings and in the rest of time – general university studies will take place, is the promotion of Germanic studies and support of talented students, lecturers, candidates of sciences and doctors of philosophy, scientists for them to study and conduct their research activity in Germany.

SaM Solutions considers support of talented citizens to have great social importance. Cooperation with DAAD and BNTU will allow SaM Solutions to make its contribution to the development of the education sphere, scientific research and culture. The company has sponsored the BNTU representatives with computers for laboratory work and ptactical studies.

Boris Hrustalev – the head of the Belarus National Technical University opened the ceremony with the word of gratitude to the DAAD’s management and the SaM Solutions company for a considerable contribution to the university’s education process and expressed his hope for a future effective, mutually advantageous cooperation.

The Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus pointed to the fact that it is highly important to develop infrastructure in the sphere of higher education and to prepare skilled specialists in the realm of high technologies. The word was also given to Marat Ebzeev – the Managing Director of SaM Solutions Minsk who noted with good reason that a number of SaM’s employees were at their time scholars of DAAD and the joint educational scientific innovation laboratory based on BNTU represents a contribution of SaM Solutions into the support program of talented students, lecturers, and scientists.

The ceremony was concluded by Max Huber – Vice-president of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). He pointed the importance of the collaborative work of the general education systems of Belarus and Germany in the goals achievement of and solution of global economic, social and ecological problems.
